Enable Location

Allow location for the player

1. Go back to the tab with the player (the page that sent you here).
2. Tap the button at the left of the address bar (Page Menu). On iOS 27, tap Website Settings. On iOS 18 or 26, tap the ⋯ button inside that menu. On iOS 17 or earlier the button is aA: tap it, then Website Settings.
3. Tap Location and choose Allow.
4. Reload the player, or tap Turn On Location. If your browser asks, choose Allow.

Still blocked? Check your iPhone or iPad settings

Opened the player from a Home Screen icon? Try it in a regular Safari tab instead.

1. In Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services, make sure Location Services is on.
2. In that same list, tap Safari Websites. Choose While Using the App and turn on Precise Location. If it says Never, Safari refuses every website without asking.
3. Open the Settings app, tap Apps, then Safari (on iOS 17 or earlier, Safari is listed directly in Settings). Tap Location and choose Allow or Ask, not Deny.
4. Reload the player, or tap Turn On Location. If your browser asks, choose Allow.

Allow location for Chrome

Chrome on iPhone and iPad has no location setting for individual websites. It uses your device's location setting for the Chrome app.

1. Open the Settings app, tap Apps, then Chrome (on iOS 17 or earlier, Chrome is listed directly in Settings).
2. Tap Location and choose While Using the App. Turn on Precise Location.
3. In Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services, make sure Location Services is on.
4. Go back to Chrome and reload the player. When it asks, tap Allow.

Still not asking?

If you tapped Don't Allow twice, Chrome stops asking and refuses the player on its own. Each time the player asks again, the block starts over, so reloading won't fix it.

1. Open the player in Safari instead: copy the player's address from Chrome's address bar and paste it into Safari.
2. Or stop opening the player in Chrome for a day, then try again.

Allow location for Firefox

Firefox on iPhone and iPad has no location setting for individual websites. It uses your device's location setting for the Firefox app.

1. Open the Settings app, tap Apps, then Firefox (on iOS 17 or earlier, Firefox is listed directly in Settings).
2. Tap Location and choose While Using the App. Turn on Precise Location.
3. In Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services, make sure Location Services is on.
4. Go back to Firefox and reload the player. When it asks, tap Allow.

Still not asking?

Open the player in Safari

You're in this app's built-in browser. Location often doesn't work there, and it pauses the music when your screen locks. The player works best in Safari.

1. Go back to the tab with the player (the page that sent you here).
2. Tap the ⋯ or Options button in the top-right corner.
3. Choose Open in external browser (some apps say Open in Safari or Open in browser).
4. No such option? Copy the player's link and paste it into Safari.
5. In Safari, when the player asks for your location, choose Allow.

Allow location for the player

1. Go back to the tab with the player (the page that sent you here).
2. Tap the small icon at the left of the address bar (View site information), then tap Permissions.
3. Tap Location and allow it. If Chrome offers Precise or Approximate, choose Precise. Or tap Reset permissions so the player can ask again.
4. If Location says Turned off for this device, location is off for the whole phone. Follow the next section.
5. Reload the player, or tap Turn On Location. If your browser asks, choose Allow.

Still blocked? Check your phone settings

Closed the location prompt a few times without answering? Chrome then blocks the site for a week and marks it Automatically blocked. Allowing it in Chrome's Site settings (below) clears that.

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and make sure the Location tile is on. Or open Settings → Location and turn on Use location.
2. Open Settings → Apps → Chrome (you may need to tap See all apps) → Permissions → Location. Choose Allow only while using the app and turn on Use precise location.
3. In Chrome, tap ⋮ → Settings → Site settings → Location. Choose Sites can ask for your location. If the player's site is listed under Not Allowed, tap it and allow it. (The player's site is the address shown in the player tab, such as player.pulsemesh.io.)
4. Reload the player, or tap Turn On Location. If your browser asks, choose Allow.

Allow location for the player

1. Go back to the tab with the player (the page that sent you here).
2. Tap the ≡ menu at the bottom right, then Settings → Sites and downloads → Site permissions → Location.
3. Find the player's site in the list and turn it on. (The player's site is the address shown in the player tab, such as player.pulsemesh.io.)
4. Go back to the player and tap Turn On Location. Samsung Internet may only show the location prompt after you tap a button, so a plain reload might not be enough. Choose Allow.

Still blocked? Check your phone settings

2. Open Settings → Apps → Samsung Internet → Permissions → Location. Choose Allow only while using the app and turn on Use precise location.

Allow location for the player

1. Go back to the tab with the player (the page that sent you here).
2. Tap the lock icon at the left of the address bar and turn Location on.
3. Not there? Tap ⋮ → Settings → Site settings (older versions: Site permissions). Under Exceptions, tap the player's site and allow Location, or clear its permissions. (The player's site is the address shown in the player tab, such as player.pulsemesh.io.)
4. On that same Site settings screen, check that Location is set to Ask to allow.
5. Reload the player, or tap Turn On Location. If your browser asks, choose Allow.

Still blocked? Check your phone settings

Firefox on Android can miss song changes while the screen is locked. For the show itself, Chrome works best.

1. Make sure Location is on in quick settings, or under Settings → Location.
2. Open Settings → Apps → Firefox → Permissions → Location. Choose Allow only while using the app and turn on Use precise location.
3. Reload the player, or tap Turn On Location. If your browser asks, choose Allow.

Allow location for the player

2. Tap the ⋯ menu in the bottom bar, then Settings → Site permissions → Location.
3. Make sure Location is set to ask first. If the player's site is listed as blocked, tap it and allow it. (The player's site is the address shown in the player tab, such as player.pulsemesh.io.)
4. Reload the player, or tap Turn On Location. If your browser asks, choose Allow.

Still blocked? Check your phone settings

Open the player in Chrome

5. Reload the player, or tap Turn On Location. If your browser asks, choose Allow.

3. Click the ✕ next to the location permission to clear the block.

5. Reload the player, or tap Turn On Location. If your browser asks, choose Allow.
