Common questions
How do viewers hear the music?
They scan the QR code at your display — or connect automatically inside your geo radius — and synchronized audio starts playing right in the browser, or in the PulseMesh app. Phone speakers, headphones, or the car stereo all work.
Do I still need an FM transmitter?
No. PulseMesh replaces FM broadcasting — every phone gets the same synchronized audio with no license, no transmitter, and no range limit. If you already run FM, you can keep it and run PulseMesh alongside it.
Which sequencing software does it work with?
xLights, FPP, xSchedule, and Light-O-Rama. You can also run shows without a local controller using the Cloud Player.
How accurate is the sync?
Every phone corrects continuously against the show clock, keeping playback within ±10ms — even on congested cellular networks.
How much internet data does it use?
About ~2MB per hour per viewer after the initial upload. A cellular hotspot at the display is plenty — no home internet run required.
Does it stay in sync over car Bluetooth?
